Where do I find my HotSync name ?

To locate your Palm HotSync name, run any of our applications, and select "About" from the menu. The screen will show both your Palm HotSync name, and the application’s serial-number (often required for registering the application).

When I try to make a call, my Treo halts, and eventually says something about an IR error

Please make sure you have "Treo" selected as the "SmartPhone/App" at the "Dial using" section at the bottom of TAKEphONE's "Telephony" preferences page.

I have removed TAKEphONE from my Treo, and now my PHONE button does not work as expected

The Palm OS does not supply any mechanism for application uninstall. As a result, ANY application using the PHONE button will affect it's behavior after deleted.
To fix this - install and run the BtnFix utility, and tap the "Go" button. You can then delete the utility.
